Butterflies

It's not easy to photograph butterflies. They won´t stay still. They flit back and forth and seem to tease you. This one, after a few rounds around me and the garden, couldn´t resist the call of the lavender and set down to have a meal.

I´ve no idea what this butterfly is called. Maybe someone will tell me.

Stairway to the truth

An afternoon well spent in the Ribeira of Porto, exploring the narrow streets and staircases in the historical centre for my next book. I hope the photographs inspire the cover designer as well.
